JK Electrical & Mechanical Services were appointed to deliver a full electrical package as part of the refurbishment of two floors of modern office space. The project required a carefully coordinated approach to upgrade existing infrastructure while supporting a redesigned layout and improved building performance.

 

Our scope included the installation of new primary containment systems to establish a robust and future-proof electrical backbone, complemented by secondary containment to support efficient and accessible distribution throughout the workspace. This ensured a clean, organised installation aligned with the demands of a contemporary office environment.

 

To meet the needs of the revised layout, small new power circuits were installed alongside modifications to existing systems, providing flexible and reliable power solutions for workstations and equipment. Lighting across both floors was upgraded to energy-efficient LED systems, enhancing visual comfort while significantly reducing energy consumption.

 

Emergency lighting was reviewed, upgraded, and extended in accordance with BS 5266-1, ensuring full compliance and safe illumination of all escape routes. In addition, we delivered dedicated mechanical power supplies to support building services and installed electric heating systems to maintain a comfortable internal environment.

 

Through proactive project management and close coordination with other trades, JK Electrical & Mechanical Services ensured the works were delivered on programme and to a high standard. The result is a modern, efficient, and fully compliant office space, designed to support both operational performance and occupant wellbeing.
